Research and higher education

The Foundation is committed to conducting research in the ways that will be most congenial to it from time to time in order to foster the acquisition of new knowledge that can find concrete applications in everyday life and be useful to economic and ethical wellbeing and to improving the quality of life, including in terms of sustainability. The research, which will also be accompanied by higher education activities, will take place both in the humanities, from the arts to the legal sciences, and in subjects related to digital disciplines.

Much attention will be devoted to studies aimed at protecting the fruits of intellectual activity of a creative nature, in particular copyright. A right that, due to the digital revolution that is still in progress, requires new and more in-depth research activities. A right that, due to the digital revolution that is still in progress, requires new and more in-depth research activities. Higher education activities will be carried out mainly through the Rome Institute of Technology, a business and management school soon to be opened and dedicated to innovation and sustainability, which organises a first-level international university master’s degree course called “RIOT – Digital Science Management”.
