Mission
Inside Art – The widespread museum
What if the museum stepped outside its walls and reached out to people? This is the idea behind Inside Art Museum, the project conceived by Inside Art and Fondazione Patrimonio Italia that transforms urban advertising spaces—billboards, panels, shelters, OOH and DOOH networks—into a distributed exhibition network dedicated to young talents in contemporary art.
The project stems from a simple belief: a significant portion of the public doesn’t frequent museums, but walks through cities every day. Inside Art Museum brings artworks into people’s daily lives, turning every passerby into a potential visitor and every urban corner into a potential exhibition space.
The works on display are selected from the winners and finalists of the Talent Prize, the competition founded by Guido Talarico, who for nearly twenty years has been one of the most authoritative observers of emerging international creativity. A guarantee of curatorial quality combined with maximum accessibility: free, ongoing, and open to all.
The model is scalable and based on public-private collaboration: municipalities, foundations, companies, and advertising agencies can contribute by providing spaces, territorial networks, and visibility, with the shared goal of building—city after city—the largest museum in the world.
